Antique Czech 25x16mm cobalt blue hand octagon faceted glass rhinestone

Antique Czech 25x16mm cobalt blue hand octagon faceted glass rhinestone. A beautiful rare glass rhinestone, made in the 1920's with a hand faceted finish. This has incredible faceting and is gem like which is not reflected in the photography. Sewn onto an original sales sample card, part of a set which would have been used to demonstrate the colors, shapes and sizes of rhinestones available. The colors on these antique stones are rarely reproduced. In original untouched condition with a small corner nick from the hand faceting. Please note antique rhinestones rarely conform to modern sizes and sometimes may not be perfectly symmetrical.
