Sample card (59) Art Deco 1920's Czech vintage earrings. This card is part of a collection from a jewelry design and manufacturing company which was based in Jablonec, Czechoslovakia. The sample cards were used to show potential buyers the range of designs available. Each had a unique selection of earrings, the cards all with hand drawn grids and catalogue numbers. Over time they will have become annotated with finer details such as metal types and stones to be used.

This card has a selection of geometric and flower earrings, all filigree wirework press stamped in gold tone metal, probably brass. Several are set with cabochons, some are beaded and some have plastic flower layers. Five of the original earrings are missing. The earrings are generally in excellent condition, one or two have minor bent areas. There are some highly ornate designs on this card and complex use of mixed materials.

This is a rare collectable sample card, perfect for a private collection, jewelry design school or to be framed and made into wall art for jewelry retailers or manufacturers.
