Lot (98) 4mm Austrian vintage heart faceted Rock crystal diamond gemstones. Rock crystals form naturally (organic) deep in the earth’s crust. Rock crystals have to be mined before being cut and polished. They are classified into two groups – ‘precious’ and ‘semi-precious’.
‘Precious’ rock crystals are usually called ‘gemstones’ and include – diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds. 
‘Semi-precious’ rock crystals are more abundant and examples are clear quartz, amethyst, rose quartz, garnet and aquamarine.
This Highest Quality Rock crystal can be used in rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, other pieces where you might find diamonds.
It is often set in valuable metals like gold, sterling silver and platinum. These are true Austrian vintage and a similar quantity of new stones will cost over $80.
