Lot (100) 4mm Austrian vintage synthetic blue spinel square Sapphire gemstones. Synthetic spinel, was first produced accidentally during an attempt to make a satisfactory blue synthetic sapphire by the Verneuil process. Flawless in cut and appearance, these high quality stones fill in perfectly for their original counterparts. These are used by high quality jewelers in producing gemstone quality jewelry.
