Antique vintage Art Deco Czech 18mm concave 2 hole sew through design glass button cabochon jewelry making steel mold die press stamp.

This can still be used for press molding glass buttons, cabochon beads or jewelry findings, art design, home decor or for general hobby crafting with metal, clay, resin, plastic, plaster, leather or soft metal. These are sought after by crafters who make resin molds, plaster molds, silicone molds, food molds, polymer clay molds and jewelry molds from them as well as button and cabochon molds.

This is a collectible unique steel button making it original for use in pressed molded glass buttons or cabochons. The negative was intricately hand-engraved and was used to create the actual button mold in a softer metal that would then be set in long metal pliers and used to hand press fancy glass buttons.

It will reproduce a new button negative today would cost at least $ 2000 for paper design, engraving, finishing and patenting.
