25mm Czech vintage dragons breath faux fire opal foil blue glass cabochon. Super blue flashes from the metal content of the glass as seen in dragons breath glass.
The making of this glass was very labor intensive, so these stones were used in either precious metal or in very fashionable costume jewelry settings. The stones were exported to other countries such as Germany and England where they were used to make fine gold and silver jewelry. Please note that most of these have "creases" in the glass where the glass has not cooled evenly when being made
