(1) Bohemian Czech Vintage hand 14k real gold gilt, reverse hand painted daisy floral lacy style marcasite glass button. With a black japanned reverse finish. This is a super quality reproduction of a 19th century design made using the original mold and original techniques.

Lacy buttons are remarkable for their complex technology. The final appearance created the effect of a button made of expensive glass consisting of multicolored cut stones or marcasite and finished with borders or lattices made of precious metals.
