Lot (2) 12mm antique Czech square faceted rosarian amethyst glass button elements
Rosarian: a term adopted for glass buttons with a hole through the centre like a bead. the shanks were usually made of brass wire, which was run through the hole, both ends being fastened to the knob on top. Most were finished with a loose metal ring around the shank. (Luscomb: Encyclopedia of Buttons).
