Antique German Czech Art Nouveau gold tone metal floral pictorial portrait button. With a typical Art Nouveau design, the hair flowing into a floral border and with an irregular edge. A two part button with a metal base and attached press stamped picture section. These were made in the old region of Bohemia and exported to the rest of the world. Often, you will find Liberty or Tiffany buttons of the same design but made of precious metal. A stunning, rare, antique button in good condition with a little oxidation to the reverse.
