34mm Victorian silver metal Emaux Peints champleve enamel floral picture button. With black and white background enamel glass in champleve style. On glass buttons, the enamelling was mostly done with white opaque glass. The image was added by using bright paints mixed with different amounts of ground glass. These were made in the old region of Bohemia and exported to the rest of the world. A stunning, rare, antique button in excellent condition.
For collecting, making jewelry, fashion design, sewing, art and crafting.
