Antique German Czech Art Nouveau metal floral pictorial portrait button. With a typical Art Nouveau design, a central womans head, floral edge, fine ribbed detail and a necklace of glass rhinestones. A two part button with a metal base and attached press stamped picture section. These were made in the old region of Bohemia and exported to the rest of the world. Often, you will find Liberty or Tiffany buttons of the same design but made of precious metal. A stunning, rare, antique button in excellent condition with one rhinestone missing.
For collecting, jewelry making, fashion design, sewing, art and crafting.
