Lot (7) rare Czech antique large oval red glass beads. These beads were hand molded in the late 19th century. They are a very unusual large size, rarely seen. Possibly used as focal beads in necklace design or in fruit lamps or chandeliers. Being hand molded, each will be slightly different on shape and color and these will have surface markings and depressions from the original hand molding. One is unpolished and these have slightly large blemishes, one being badly chipped. An unusual glass type which is very slightly translucent so the beads photograph lighter than they actually are.
