Lot (3) Austrian D.S vintage 2 part flatback rhinestone triangle headpin glass beads shankless buttons

Lot (3) Austrian D.S vintage 2 part triangle headpin glass beads button elements. Each with a triangle base, a layer of silver mirror and an applied triangle flatback glass rhinestone. These were glued together as rough stones and then faceted to shape after. With a part drilled hole for wiring as a bead or attaching a button shank. Premium quality vintage glass beads in excellent condition.
Size: 15mm; 9/16" diameter

These were found in an early sealed Daniel Swarovski export box from around 1910. The Swarovski story began in 1895 in Wattens, Austria, when Daniel Swarovski invented a machine for cutting and polishing crystal. His invention not only revolutionized crystal manufacturing; it went on to inspire the worlds of jewelry, fashion, art, design and cinema over the next 120 years.
