Lot (33) large Austrian D.S vintage crystal clear round faceted glass beads prisms. These are very unusual beads, each with unique hand faceting in a random manner, giving them a unique look. Premium quality vintage glass beads in good vintage condition. Please note these were photographed against a dark backround and are clear.
Size: 15mm; 9/16" diameter
These were found in an early sealed Daniel Swarovski export box from around 1910. The Swarovski story began in 1895 in Wattens, Austria, when Daniel Swarovski invented a machine for cutting and polishing crystal. His invention not only revolutionized crystal manufacturing; it went on to inspire the worlds of jewelry, fashion, art, design and cinema over the next 120 years.
