Antique Art Nouveau Czech Bohemian oval shaped belt buckle or jewelry element. Wonderful hand painted floral scene on thin black glass. Stunning piece of early art glass to be kept either as a museum piece or converted to a stunning piece of jewelry.

These black glass elements were made by the Gebruder Feix company in the latter half of the 19th century. This is an original sample from the company, used to demonstrate the designs available and was never for sale. This is from my own private collection and was discovered many years ago in a basement of a house belonged to a retired glass making family.
