Antique Victorian floral butterfly hand painted jet black glass jewelry element. Wonderful hand painted floral scene on thin hand made black glass. Stunning piece of early art glass to be kept either as a museum piece or converted to a stunning piece of jewelry. Some minor paint loss.
These black glass elements were made by the Gebruder Feix company in the latter half of the 19th century. This is an original sample from the company, used to demonstrate the designs available and was never for sale.
