Antique Victorian Czech Bohemian crystal glass decanter and shot glass set. A beautiful hand blown decanter with hand gold gilt detailing and cranberry and crystal hand applied ballotini overlay detailing. With a rough pontil mark and the number 6 on both the decanter and stopper bases. The stopper has a few nicks on the base, probably from the original shaping rather than later.
With 5 hand blown shot glasses with the same detailing as the decanter and also with rough pontil marks. The shot glasses are slightly off vertical, have some gilt loss and are by no means perfectly round, indicative of their age.
Finally, this set comes with the original tray which does have a few edge chips but the most wonderful bubbles.
Whilst, we are describing as 1840's Victorian, the style of glass and manufacture suggests this set my actually be older and is a true museum piece.
This is a stunning collectible antique decanter and shot glass set.
