RETURNS AND DAMAGED GOODS POLICY OF Astex company s.r.o - EU SALES

We abide by the terms of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (Text with EEA relevance).

In the EU you have the right to return purchases made online within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind. The 14-day cooling off period does not apply to all purchases.

This period begins the following day:

  • of the delivery of the goods

How can I exercise my right of withdrawal?

Your right of withdrawal must be in writing using the Withdrawal Form

You do not have to justify yourself to Astex company s.r.o, but you must inform the seller of your decision to withdraw.

  • Contact Astex company s.r.o in writing using the email address: info@beadstory.com and keep a copy. Use the withdrawal form provided or write a clear message about your wish to withdraw. Prefer registered letters or e-mails with acknowledgement of receipt because in the event of a dispute you must be able to prove that you have withdrawn within the time limit.

Simply returning the good without a declaration or refusing delivery is not sufficient to express your wish to withdraw. 

  • Return your order within 14 days maximum. You must make sure you send the item to the right address. If you are not sure, check the general conditions of sale or ask Astex company s.r.o for the procedure (return address, return number, etc.). In all cases the items must be carefully packed. It is possible to use the original packaging if it is solid and still in good condition, but this is not mandatory. Do not hesitate to take pictures of the good and the package before closing and sending it.

Who pays the shipping fees?

The European Directive on consumer rights establishes that the consumer will have to pay the return shipping costs in case of withdrawal as by agreeing to our terms and conditions you were informed of your obligation to cover the return shipping costs in advance in case of withdrawal.

How much does Astex company s.r.o have to reimburse me?

Astex company s.r.o is obliged to reimburse you for the full amount you have paid, including standard delivery charges (unless you have chosen a more expensive method of delivery such as express delivery for example).

If you return only part of your order, you will be refunded the price of goods returned + delivery fees in proportion to the number of items returned.

How long does the Astex company s.r.o have to pay me back?

Astex company s.r.o must reimburse you no more than 14 days after being informed of your decision to withdraw. If the Astex company s.r.o is retrieving the item, he/she may delay the reimbursement until the item is picked up, or until he/she receives proof that you have sent the item back.

In case of late reimbursement, if French law applies to your contract, you can request damages according to a specific scale.

What is the method of payment for reimbursement?

Astex company s.r.o should reimburse you through the same payment method you used for the purchase. Unless you agree to a different method which does not result in additional fees. 

If Astex company s.r.o has not obtained your prior consent to the execution of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period as well as the proof of you giving up right of withdrawal, no money shall be due.

If you purchase goods, you have the right to examine them under conditions comparable to those in a store. Goods that have been worn, used, damaged or altered in any way are NOT eligible for a return or refund of any form.

Damaged on arrival or not as described - The customer is required to inform Astex company s.r.o within 14 days if any damages incurred in transit or if items are significantly not as described. Astex company s.r.o will pay the shipping costs for you to return the item to us and to send a replacement item back to you if required. Returns for quality issues will only be accepted if the items you receive differ significantly from the item descriptions. We will not accept returns on any other basis and we will require photographic evidence as proof of items "significantly not as described". Goods that have been worn, used, damaged or altered in any way are NOT eligible for a return or refund of any form. Due to the antique and vintage nature of the items we sell, all items must be inspected on arrival and any quality issues reported within 14 days. After 14 days, Astex Company s.r.o accepts no liability for returns or refunds.

Lost in transit - Occasionally the postal service will lose packages. Lost in transit is not covered by the returns and damaged goods policy. In this instance, we will replace like for like goods or offer credit toward other goods. Refunds are not applicable to items lost by the postal services.

RETURNS, REFUND AND DAMAGED GOODS POLICY OF Astex company s.r.o - NON EU SALES

If for any reason you are not and would like to return your purchase, we are happy to offer a generous returns policy: we will refund (less initial shipping charges) full price items returned within 28 days of your order being delivered. Please note, we do not cover the cost of returned goods, unless the item is faulty, or delivered in error.

Returns outside of the 28 day timeframe will not be accepted under any circumstances.

If you're returning an item because of a mistake on the part of beadstory.com or because of quality issues, Astex company s.r.o will pay the shipping costs for you to return the item to us and to send a replacement item back to you if required. Returns for quality issues will only be accepted if the items you receive differ significantly from the item descriptions. We will not accept returns on any other basis and we will require photographic evidence as proof of items "significantly not as described".

Goods should be returned in the same condition in which they were sold, unmarked and in their original, undamaged boxes as these are considered part of the product. Goods that are returned not in the same condition in which they were sold may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer at their own cost.

Please allow 2 business days for us to receive and process your return or exchange. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of processing.

Once your return has been processed, a refund will be issued to the original payment method used to place the order or as store credit if preferred. Please note that refunds can take up to 5 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

Personalised items and special orders cannot be returned or exchanged.

The original shipping charges are not refundable.

MAKING A RETURN

To make a return, notify us of the reason, condition and resolution for each product being returned. Add any additional information in the text field and add any files you wish to include with your request. You will receive an email to confirm your request has been received and then subsequently an approved or rejected email once your return request has been reviewed.

If your request has been rejected, we will notify you as to the reason your return request is being rejected via email.

HOW TO RETURN

Please ensure you have a RMA (Returns Merchant Authorisation) number prior to returning your items. Returns without this number may be subject to delays in processing or rejection of your return.

For any returns, please package the items in their original packing materials and seal them in the shipping box.

The shipping box and any applicable customs forms should be marked as RETURNED GOODS. The customer is liable to pay any duty fees and/or taxes Astex company s.r.o incurs as a result of incorrectly filled customs and declaration forms or where this direction has not been followed.

Please use an insured and traceable method of shipping. Astex company s.r.o is not responsible for any products being returned that are lost or damaged in transit
