Set (7) antique metal head window shutter dog latches architectural salvage. From the 1900's, these are wonderful latches that were used to hold shutters open and stop them banging and breaking. The 10cm "tail" would be set into the wall and when the shutter was opened outwards, the head attachment would catch the shutter. 
Made of mixed metals with cast heads, these are rare shutter catches. The total length with the tail is around 15cm or 6 inches when closed. The heads are around 3.5cm or 1.75 inches tall.
In very good condition.
