Lot (14) Czech 1930's Vintage black glass buttons. With a mix of sizes and designs with three single hole rosarian pin shank buttons. These were found in a cellar and have some residual dirt and many have an iridescence caused by damp.
Size: 13 - 27mm 8/16" - 1.05"

Shank: self shank/sew through/metal loop/metal box 4 way

Quantity: 14 with an extra 2 hole connector bead
Rosarians: a term adopted from the word rosary for glass buttons with a hole through the centre like a bead. The shanks were usually made of a heavy flattened brass wire, which was run through the hole, both ends being fastened to the knob on top. Most were finished with a loose metal ring around the shank.
