Lot (7) Austrian D.S vintage crystal clear and frost glass beads. One oval headpin button base, 2 round faceted beads, 2 oval headpin beads with part drilled holes, one cube bead and one frost dimple oval glass bead. Premium quality vintage glass beads in good vintage condition. Please note these were photographed against a dark backround and are clear.
Size: 9 - 16mm; 6/16" - 10/16" diameter
These were found in an early sealed Daniel Swarovski export box from around 1910. The Swarovski story began in 1895 in Wattens, Austria, when Daniel Swarovski invented a machine for cutting and polishing crystal. His invention not only revolutionized crystal manufacturing; it went on to inspire the worlds of jewelry, fashion, art, design and cinema over the next 120 years.
