Original vintage Czech Bohemian Schlevogt Ingrid style Chinese dragon malachite jadeite trinket or powder box. With a Chinese dragon frieze running around the base and a raised relief oriental symbol on the lid. This is a very rare and unusual design.
The Curt Schlevogt company introduced the Ingrid collection at the spring 1934 trade fair in Leipzig and later on, it was presented at the world expositions in Chicago (1934) and Brussels (1935). The Ingrid collection was constantly enriched, comprising of approximately 600 objects in 1935, doubling in number by the mid 1940's. This new colored glass which formed part of the Ingrid collection was produced at the glassworks of Josef Riedel in Dolni Polubny.
